§ 1 Provider of the promotion

§ 2 Promotion period

The promotion runs from 21 May 2026, 00:00 until 30 June 2026, 23:59 (CEST).

What matters is that the card application (§ 4) is submitted within this period via the provider's referral link. The provider reserves the right to extend or end the promotion early (§ 9).

§ 3 The reward

For each successful card application (§ 4), the participating person receives the following digital products free of charge:

• Premium Bundle (Premium Handbook as PDF + AudioBook as MP3) – regular price €99
• US Sprint (US credit cards handbook "Der Global Transfer Weg" as PDF) – regular price €197

Total value of the reward: €296.

The reward is provided exclusively as a digital download (pre-signed download link). A cash payout, an exchange or a transfer to third parties is excluded.

§ 4 Requirements – How it works

The reward is granted if all of the following requirements are met:

1. During the promotion period, the participating person applies for an American Express Platinum Card or an American Express Platinum Business Card via the provider's personal referral link (Member-Get-Member link).
2. The card application is approved by American Express and the referral is credited as successful to the provider in the American Express referral program.
3. After applying, the participating person contacts the provider – either by email to info@meilen-koenig.de or by private message via our social media channels – and submits the card application as proof (e.g. a screenshot or confirmation of the application or the confirmation email from American Express).
4. The provider reviews the submitted proof and the crediting of the referral and confirms the successful application to the participating person.

An application only counts as a "successful application" within the meaning of these promotion terms once the provider has expressly confirmed it after reviewing the submitted proof and the referral credited to the provider by American Express. The claim to the reward only arises with this confirmation by the provider. Until then, there is no claim to the reward; the mere submission of an application or a submitted proof alone does not establish a claim to the reward.

The review is carried out on the basis of objective criteria (crediting of the referral in the American Express referral program as well as plausibility of the submitted proof). In the event of doubts about the authenticity or attribution of a proof, the provider may request further proof or refuse confirmation.

The participating person is responsible for complying with the respective applicable participation and program terms of American Express. The amount and requirements of any American Express welcome bonus are decided exclusively by American Express; the provider has no influence on this.

§ 5 Eligibility to participate

(1) Eligible to participate are natural persons who, at the time of participation, are at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity and are resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

(2) The reward is granted once per person and per card actually successfully applied for. Multiple successful applications can be rewarded multiple times, provided that each application was credited separately to the provider.

(3) Employees of the provider and their relatives are excluded from participation.

§ 6 Provision of the reward

As soon as the successful referral has been confirmed or credited to the provider by American Express, the provider will provide the reward within usually 7 business days by email to the email address provided by the participating person (digital download link). The download links are valid for a limited time; a renewed provision can be requested via the customer account portal (/konto).

§ 7 Loss of the claim

In particular, there is no claim to the reward if:

• the card application is rejected by American Express or the referral is not credited to the provider,
• the card is revoked or canceled before the referral is credited by American Express,
• the application was not made via the provider's referral link,
• false, misleading or incomplete information is provided,
• there is a violation of the program terms of American Express.

§ 8 Exclusion and abuse

The provider reserves the right to exclude participating persons from the promotion in the event of manipulation, deception or the justified suspicion of abusive behavior, and to reclaim rewards already granted.

§ 9 Modification and early termination

The provider reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the promotion at any time – even without observing notice periods – in particular if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons or if the American Express referral program or the welcome bonus is changed or discontinued. Reward claims that have already arisen remain unaffected by this.

§ 10 Data protection

(1) The personal data collected within the scope of the promotion is processed exclusively for the execution and handling of the promotion. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (execution of the promotion) as well as Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the handling).

(2) The following is processed in particular: name, email address and the proof of the card application submitted by the participating person.

(3) The data is deleted after complete handling of the promotion and expiry of any statutory retention periods.

§ 11 Tax notice

Any tax treatment of the reward on the part of the participating person is their own responsibility. The provider does not provide tax, legal or financial advice.

§ 12 Independence from American Express

This promotion is carried out exclusively by the provider. It has no connection to American Express and is neither sponsored nor supported nor organized by American Express. "American Express", "AMEX", "Platinum Card" and "Membership Rewards" are trademarks of American Express Company or its affiliated companies and are used here only for identification purposes. Any questions about the promotion are to be directed to the provider.

§ 13 Liability

(1) The provider is not liable for technical faults or faulty or delayed email deliveries that impair participation or the provision of the reward.

(2) The liability of the provider is otherwise governed by the statutory provisions. In the case of intent and gross negligence as well as in the case of injury to life, body or health, the provider is liable without limitation.

§ 14 Final provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of residence of the participating person remain unaffected.

(2) Should a provision of these promotion terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
